The Medical Assistant provides direct and telephone patient care following established standards, coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless delivery and active patient participation in planning. This role involves assisting physicians or other providers with clinical procedures and performing authorized clinical duties within the scope of practice.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, or hold a Nationally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program and current CPR/BLS certification are preferred qualifications.
