The practitioner provides structured, goal-oriented, and time-limited Family Centered Treatment in the natural environment to maintain the family unit and avoid out-of-home placements. Essential duties include client service delivery, thorough documentation, risk assessment, and active communication with supervisors.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a human service field from an accredited college and have experience working with at-risk children and families. Attainment of certification from the Family Centered Treatment Foundation, clearances, a valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance are also required.
The Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Practitioner will provide structured, goal oriented and time limited Family Centered Treatment in the natural environment to families involved in a variety of systems such as child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health, and substance use. The ultimate goal of treatment is to maintain the family unit and avoid out of home placements.
