The Technologist utilizes laboratory skills to execute and report results from defined laboratory procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include specimen management, performing tests, quality control, instrument maintenance, and evaluating patient identification processes.
A Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited program is required, along with minimum basic computer literacy. National certification compliant with Federal/State regulations is mandatory for this role.
Utilizes laboratory skills to perform and report results of clearly defined laboratory procedures assuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
