Radiologic Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes, performing a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety and proper documentation. They also prepare and administer medications as prescribed and assist licensed practitioners with specialized radiologic procedures across various clinical environments.
Candidates must graduate from a Radiologic Technology Specialty Training Program, and new graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within six months of hire. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of one year of related work experience, along with current Basic Life Support Certification.
New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of the date of hire. Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.
