The physician provides direct medical patient care, including interviewing, examining, diagnosing, and treating acute and long-term healthcare issues according to medical protocols. Responsibilities also include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, overseeing medical staff, and maintaining accurate, confidential medical records.
Candidates must be qualified physicians (MD) practicing within Tennessee regulations, holding current DEA and DPS certificates, and ideally possessing at least one year of experience in pediatrics. Required abilities include critical thinking, active listening, and effective communication to maintain a professional and caring persona.
