The Clinical Nurse Specialist serves as a role model for excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice, fulfilling major roles as a practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, and Clinical Guideline Manager.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university and have a minimum of three years of nursing experience in a clinical area. Applicants are required to be licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
