The Clinical Nurse Specialist serves as a role model for excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice, fulfilling major roles as a practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, and Clinical Guideline Manager.

Responsibilities

Serves as a role model of excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice. Major roles of the Clinical Nurse Specialist include those of practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, and Clinical Guideline Manager. Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Master's Degree in Nursing from an Accredited College or University. Minimum (3) years of experience nursing in a clinical area. Licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Work Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM Weekend Requirements: No On-Call Requirements: No

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university and have a minimum of three years of nursing experience in a clinical area. Applicants are required to be licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
