The primary duties involve ensuring physicians receive high-quality CT images by interpreting orders, explaining procedures, positioning patients, and administering contrast dyes. Technologists must also examine images for usability, update patient records, and manage CT scan supplies.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school and maintain CNMT or ARRT (N) certification along with current CPR certification. Essential soft skills include excellent communication, critical thinking, organizational abilities, and the capacity to maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
