The Certified Surgical Scrub Technician will work in various surgical specialties, ensuring optimal surgical conditions and collaborating with medical staff for patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality and providing pre-operative, inter-operative, and post-operative care.
Candidates must have effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A current unencumbered CST certification and BLS are required, with 1 year of experience preferred.
$33.26 - $45.62, DOE Position Type: Full-time, shared rotating call required; a call weekend every 4th - 6th weekend. What You’ll Do: Work in an environment where patients receive surgical interventions in the specialty areas of: General Surgery with Robotics, Podiatry, Orthopedic trauma & total joint replacements, Ophthalmology, OB-GYN with robotics, ENT/Head & Neck. Scrub Techs and First Assistants, within their scope of practice; optimize provision of surgical patient care through appropriate use of techniques Ensure surgical conditions optimization via surveillance of medical equipment Effectively collaborate with Hospital staff and medical staff members toward provision of pre-operative, inter-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA.
