Position Summary

The Contract Mental Health Therapist will provide outpatient mental health counseling services to clients referred to the Latino Community Development Agency’s Treatment Program. Scope of Service: Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ODMHSAS, CARF, and LCDA standards. Participate in case consultations and coordinate care plans with LCDA staff as needed. Always uphold client confidentiality and professional ethics. Service Window: Flexible schedule based on client needs and therapist availability. Services are typically provided Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with occasional Saturday appointments if mutually agreed upon.

Location

The Contract Mental Health Therapist will primarily work at LCDA’s office. For virtual clients, there is flexibility to work from home with prior approval.

Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling.

License

Must have a current Oklahoma license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LBP) or under supervision for licensure.

Insurance

Must carry professional liability insurance.

Skills

Fluency in both English and Spanish. Proficient in Microsoft Word and possesses intermediate general computer skills.
