Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. They develop or implement treatment plans based on assessments and recommendations from other professionals.
Candidates must have a graduate degree in Speech Pathology and at least 5 years of related experience. A license in Speech Therapy active in Missouri is required, along with a BLS certification within 90 days.
