• Purpose: - The Behavioral Tech III for Our Turning Point Ranch at LifeStream plays a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of clients. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions, monitor client progress, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals receiving care.
• Key
• Responsibilities: - Assist in the implementation of treatment plans by providing direct care and support to clients. - Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and any incidents to ensure accurate records are maintained. - Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective strategies for client care. - Facilitate group therapy sessions and activities designed to promote social skills and emotional regulation. - Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. - Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed to maintain a calm and supportive atmosphere. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care strategies. - Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and available resources to support recovery and well-being. - Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions and documentation.
• QualificationsRequired
• Education: - High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
• Required
• Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting. - Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. - Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation procedures.
