Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting for Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to work with us in support of the East Orange VA Medical Center located at 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations using diagnostic ultrasound equipment, including:
  • Cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vascular studies
  • Doppler imaging, waveform analysis, and intracranial exams
  • Capture, document, and evaluate high‑quality diagnostic images
  • Enter preliminary findings and reports into the VA electronic health record (CPRS/VistA)
  • Communicate results clearly and professionally with VA providers
  • Review consults and assist with appropriate scheduling of vascular studies
  • Serve as a liaison between the vascular lab, providers, and patients
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment, manage supplies, and perform basic troubleshooting
  • Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with VA policies
  • Respond to patient and provider inquiries
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and staff meetings
  • Complete required documentation, including notes for delayed or pending studies

    • Active, full, unrestricted license to practice vascular ultrasound in any U.S. state or territory

    All candidates must be able to

    • Lift up to 20 lbs
    • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
    • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force

    Requirements

    Candidates must possess a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification from ARDMS and hold an active, unrestricted license to practice vascular ultrasound in any U.S. state or territory. A minimum of two years of experience performing vascular ultrasound studies, strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, and the ability to pass VA background checks are mandatory.
