$23 - $41 / HOUR
Primary duties involve assisting medical staff by collecting patient information, preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, performing specialty-related tests, and scheduling appointments. The role also includes updating records and generally supporting the delivery of patient care within the dermatology department.
Candidates should ideally have at least one year of prior Medical Assistant experience, with specialty care dermatology experience being a plus, and certification through a national agency is strongly preferred, though non-credentialed MAs must become certified within 90 days. Successful applicants need excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and must maintain current CPR/BLS certification.
