The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients, including initiating and documenting appropriate interventions and prescribing therapies as indicated. Responsibilities also include providing patient and family education, promoting wellness, and incorporating evidence-based research into clinical practice.
Candidates must qualify as a Nurse Practitioner (MSN required, 0-3 years post-MSN experience preferred), a Physician Assistant (accredited program completion and NCCPA certification required), or a Clinical Nurse Specialist (MSN required, 0-3 years post-MSN experience preferred). All paths require current state licensure, and current BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
Nurse Practitioner Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. This position is entry-level and typically requires a minimum of 0-3 years post MSN experience, preferably in the chosen specialty. RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required. OR Physician Assistant Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification. This position is entry-level and typically requires 0-3 years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferably in the chosen specialty. Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required. OR Clinical Nurse Specialist Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Clinical Nurse Specialist program. This position is entry-level and typically requires a minimum of 0-3 years of post-MSN experience, preferably in the chosen specialty. RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
