This non-exempt position involves providing clinical triage decision-making over the telephone, prioritizing patient urgency based on assessment data, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to determine a plan of care. Essential duties include performing nursing assessments, advising on the appropriate level of care, educating patients/families, and reporting findings to the Primary Care Physician or designated provider.
Please note that this is a Full-Time position that includes weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

A non-exempt position responsible for providing clinical triage decision-making under the supervision of the Acute Care Services Manager. The nurse should be able to prioritize the urgency of the patient telephone interaction based on the assessment data, utilize decision support tools and collaborate with other health care professionals to arrive at a plan of care, implement appropriate interventions, and evaluate the outcome.
