The Direct Support Professional will provide direct assistance, guidance, mentoring, and teaching in daily living activities, personal care, life skills, and community integration to enhance the supported person's quality of life. Essential functions include providing direct support and supervision, administering medications, completing required documentation, and maintaining professional working relationships.

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and maintain current certifications for CPR/First Aid, Mandt Systems, and Medication Administration, which may require obtaining certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing. Applicants must also have a current Driver's License, meet agency driving requirements, and be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and demonstrating Mandt Systems physical interventions.
