The LPN provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients under the supervision of an RN or Physician, adhering to standards of practice and organizational policies. This includes performing general nursing tasks while ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures for patient safety.
Candidates must be a graduate from a practical nursing program and possess a valid New Mexico RN License or a valid multi-state compact license within 90 days of hire. BLS certification is mandatory within 14 days of hire, and one year of experience is desired.
The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy. Performs general nursing tasks. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
