The PICC RN/Vascular Access Specialist provides expert vascular access services, including bedside insertion of PICCs, midlines, extended dwell catheters, and peripheral IV catheters at client facilities. Responsibilities also involve examining and assessing patients with vascular access devices and educating patients, families, and staff on procedures.
Candidates must possess a current RN license in the state of work along with current ACLS and BCLS certifications, and must have completed a vascular access competency skills checklist. The role requires maintaining a high level of professionalism and skill while operating in diverse healthcare environments.
