Patient Care Techs act as the communication hub within the patient care environment, responsible for creating and maintaining a setting conducive to healing. They collaborate with team members to provide skillful, supportive care and communicate pertinent information to the patient care team.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and have at least six months of nursing assistant experience or certification. A Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required within two weeks of hire, along with computer skills and a mature, courteous demeanor.
Medical terminology required prior to unit orientation or documentation of formal class within three (3) years Previous experience Multi-language ability
