The student-intern will perform tasks related to their area of study under the supervision of a qualified professional, applying theoretical knowledge through practical application in a professional healthcare setting. Upon completion, the student will gain a strong understanding of the community behavioral health system and develop strong skills in crisis assessment and intervention for all ages.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master's Program with an emphasis in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other behavioral health specialties, and must be enrolled in a supervised field instruction class. Candidates need excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills are desired, and they must complete required onboarding processes including potential background checks and drug screens.
