The RN Circulator manages patient care within the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient environment while coordinating with the surgical team. Key duties include preparing operating rooms, maintaining the sterile field, performing patient assessments, monitoring the patient's condition, and assisting with room turnover between cases.
Candidates must possess an active RN license for Oregon or a compact license, along with a minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience as an OR Circulator. Required certifications include BLS, while ACLS certification is preferred, alongside strong knowledge of sterile techniques.
