The Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed Physical Therapists by implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient responses, and educating patients and families on recovery exercises. Key duties also involve documenting patient progress and maintaining clean therapy equipment.
Candidates must possess a current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New York State and an Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program. Experience in a healthcare setting and CPR certification are preferred, alongside strong communication skills.
Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New York State. Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises. CPR certification is strongly preferred.
