The Medical Assistant performs patient care under the supervision of physicians and nurses, including preparing patients and recording diagnostic test results. They also assist in coordinating care and maintaining medical records.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete a Medical Assistant training program or have relevant experience. Certification as an emergency medical technician or nursing attendant is also acceptable.
