The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to individuals and families, focusing on health promotion and disease management. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing health problems, prescribing medications, and providing health education.
Candidates must have a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty and certification from a recognized body. A minimum of one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
FMNP The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FMNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to individuals across the lifespan, including adults and children, and families. The FMNP focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of acute and chronic illnesses within a clinic/outpatient setting.
