The ASW provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required, along with active registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) in California. Candidates must also be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance.
