The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities. This includes utilizing the nursing process to achieve the goals of the nursing department and providing nursing services to patients and families.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience as a registered nurse, with previous Operating Room experience preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher is required, and those without a Bachelor's must enroll in a BSN program within two years.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient‑centered perioperative care in alignment with the DUHS Professional Practice Model.
