Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help prevent speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. They will develop or implement treatment plans for various issues including stuttering, delayed language, and swallowing disorders.
A Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology/Communicative Disorders and Sciences is required, along with an active Speech Therapy License in Missouri or being a CFY candidate. Prior one year of hospital or healthcare-related experience is preferred.
