The primary function is to provide preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment for diseases and injuries in pets, while ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and associates through strict adherence to protocols. Essential duties include obtaining client history, maintaining medical records, educating clients, and effectively communicating treatment plans to the team and client.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree, hold a valid state veterinary license, and have DEA licensing, along with proven ability to perform all basic surgeries. Required capabilities include strong communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations and physical demands.
