Job description

• The role of a caregiver at Golden Care is to provide high-quality, non-medical care and support services to clients, delivering care with professionalism, empathy, compassion, kindness, and in a respectful manner. Some caregiver duties include, but not limited to;
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Providing clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or related behaviors (i.e., wandering, paranoia) a safe and secure environment by monitoring their health and safety, as it is a priority.
• Assist clients with all their ADL’s (Activates of Daily Living) in accordance with individualized care plans (i.e., personal hygiene assistance—oral care, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean-living environment.
• Meal preparation and assist with feeding if needed.
• Transferring & Ambulation—provide safety, stability and support while client is mobile and during transfers.
• Transportation (i.e., appointments, grocery shopping, errands, outings, etc.)

Requirements

• Needed to apply:
• MUST have at least 3 months of professional experience working as a caregiver;
• MUST be, or willing to register as a California Home Care Aide (HCA);
