Trainees will complete mandatory initial training courses in Mammography and Tomosynthesis, followed by hands-on training to prepare for the ARRT mammography registry exam. Upon certification, the individual will become a full-time mammography technologist while also participating in assigned projects and adhering to company policies regarding medication and information safeguards.
Candidates must possess a current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A keen interest and ability to learn advanced radiology procedures like Tomosynthesis and biopsies are essential, alongside demonstrating professionalism and resilience when interacting with potentially nervous patients.
