The technician performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician, applying x-ray energy to aid in diagnosis or treatment for patients across all age groups. They must exercise professional judgment in providing these healthcare services and complete all established competencies within the introductory period.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and possess or be eligible for ARRT certification, obtaining full ARRT within one year post-graduation, along with BLS certification and any required state license. Preferred experience is 1-3 years, and an Associate's degree is preferred.
Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
