The Certified Nursing Assistant supports medical providers by administering direct patient care, which includes assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, hygiene, and feeding, as well as monitoring and recording vital signs.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions. Physical requirements involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently.
