The role also requires communicating with patients and physicians, evaluating orders, documenting information, implementing care plans, and conducting calorie counts.
Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association and hold state licensure, with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition required. One year of Clinical Dietetics experience is preferred, and membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is desired.
