The Emergency Veterinarian will manage all incoming emergency cases, including performing physical examinations, diagnostics like ultrasounds and bloodwork, and creating treatment plans. Key duties also involve performing minor and major emergency surgeries, endoscopic procedures, and communicating diagnoses and estimates directly with pet owners.
Candidates must possess a DVM or equivalent degree and thrive in emergency medicine, including proficiency in soft tissue surgery and endoscopy. Essential requirements include the ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially noisy environment, handle physical demands like lifting, and work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
