The therapist will provide individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents dealing with various mental health concerns, while also conducting assessments and developing tailored treatment plans. Key duties include maintaining accurate client records, providing crisis intervention, and offering clinical supervision to LMSW therapists.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field and hold a license eligible in New Mexico, along with a minimum of three years of counseling experience and the ability to provide clinical supervision. Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, excellent analytical and communication skills, and crisis intervention capabilities are essential.
Chrysalis Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We offer a variety of mental health services including medication management and interventional treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in New Mexico. This is an in-office position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Provide individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents with various mental health concerns Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique needs Maintain accurate and timely client records and progress notes Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed Provide clinical supervision for our LMSW therapists Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities
Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or related field $75,000 - $80,000 base salary plus bonus License eligible in the state of New Mexico At least three years previous counseling experience required. Ability to provide clinical supervision required. Certification in DBT, ERP or EMDR is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, as well as psychology, therapy and counseling approaches Strong analytical skills to assess a patient’s situation and build treatment plans Excellent listening skills to best understand a patient’s issues and concerns Excellent communication skills to effectively guide patients and establish trust Crisis intervention skills to respond to patients in acute distress All new patient visits conducted in person, but we offer a mixture of in-person and telemedicine for follow-up visits based on patient needs
