The Dentist is responsible for diagnosing and rendering high-quality dental care, performing various procedures like extractions, fillings, prophylaxis, and prosthetics, and participating in oral surgery when required. They must also maintain dental records, conduct training programs, teach oral health education to patients, and participate in patient-centered medical home implementation activities.
Candidates must possess a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited Dental School and hold a license to practice dentistry in New York State. A minimum of one year of experience with high competency in clinical dentistry is required, along with the ability to travel to other sites as needed and a commitment to community health care.
