The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits, develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence, and provide necessary therapy assessments and training to residents and caregivers. Responsibilities also include coordinating diagnostic swallowing procedures and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA Certification, maintaining good standing with all regulatory agencies. Experience in SNF/Long term care is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices.
