Where You’ll Work Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St.
Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado.
With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients.

The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.
6th Floor Medical Surgical: The 6th Floor Medical Surgical department at St.
Anthony Hospital is a medical surgical floor specializing in trauma, surgery, and oncology with 36 beds.
Primarily, we care for trauma patients with blunt abdominal/chest traumas after car accidents, falls, and mountain activities such as skiing, mountain biking and hiking injuries.
We care for patients requiring mostly abdominal surgeries including appendectomies, colon resections, hernia repairs and serve as the overflow for orthopedic trauma patients including those with hip fractures and tib/fib fractures.
We care for cancer patients, administering chemotherapy and treating neutropenics, accounting for about 10% of our current patient load.

Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Six months previous CNA experience preferred Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills Previous customer service experience preferred High School diploma or GED required Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required State registered CNA license required Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred.
CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
