May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. The Pharmacy Technician I report to the Pharmacy Manager. Under general supervision, the Pharmacy Technician I support the drug distribution activities of the Department of Pharmacy Services. Minimum Training and Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP). This technician must complete the PTCB board certification exam and pass within 6 months of hire. If the Technician I care team member has not attained PTCB certification within one year of employment (during the probationary period) they will be separated from service.
