The Pharmacy Technician provides clinical support to patients by assisting the Pharmacist with daily duties, including preparing and tracking outgoing shipments of supplies and medications. Responsibilities also involve coordinating deliveries, performing follow-up calls, efficient data entry, and assisting with pharmacy inventories and compliance documentation.
Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted pharmacy technician certificate in the state of practice, and a high school diploma is required. Certification as a CPhT is required within one year of hire, along with computer skills in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.

High school diploma required Active pharmacy technician certificate in state of practice without restrictions Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required within 1 year of hire date Computer skills: familiar with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office required Experience working as a pharmacy technician in home infusion or specialty pharmacy preferred Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Demonstrates State Board of Pharmacy regulations Prepares and tracks outgoing shipments to ensure continuity of care for patients Pull, pick and pack supplies and medications for patient shipments, under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist Coordinates deliveries and performs follow-up calls to patients and /or caregivers, as assigned Performs efficient data entry of pertinent prescription information into electronic medical record and pharmacy tracking systems Remain current with State Board of Pharmacy continuing education requirements Assists with pharmacy inventories and associated documentation and reporting Assists in obtaining and tracking of billing information and documentation Ensures compliance with documentation requirements Ensures pharmacy compliance with PromptCare policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Physical Demands The physical requirements listed here indicate what an employee must meet to effectively perform this role's essential functions.
