The Echo/Ultrasound technologist will collaborate directly with radiologists and cardiologists to execute various ultrasound procedures requiring professional judgment and ingenuity. Diagnostic
Imaging: Perform high-quality Transthoracic (TTE) examinations according to established cardiac protocols, adapting techniques using professional judgment and ingenuity.
Advanced
Case
Support: Assist cardiologists with Stress Echocardiograms and Transesophageal (TEE) examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Preliminary
Reporting: Analyze cardiac structural measurements and blood flow dynamics, presenting comprehensive technical findings and digital image datasets to cardiologists.
Patient-Centered
Care: Provide empathetic patient education, address physical or age-specific needs, and ensure a safe, exceptional customer service experience.
Education: Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in Echocardiography.
Credentials
Active RDCS (through ARDMS) OR RCS (through CCI) credential.
