The primary role is to provide safe, competent, and ethical respiratory and cardiology care to all patients within the acute care facility. This position also requires providing leadership and direction to employees who possess lesser training.
Candidates must have a minimum of a two-year Associate degree or preferably a four-year Baccalaureate degree from a CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP accredited program. Required credentials include CRT, RRT certification from NBRC, and a current Texas respiratory care license, along with BLS certification.
