Description Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Job Type Full-Time Freehold, NJ
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified with experience prescribing to the psychiatric population.
This position is hybrid requiring at least 2 days weekly in our Freehold, NJ location.
Evening hours may also be required.
To support our commitment to excellent patient care and a positive work/life balance for our team, there are a few measures that we have put in place: Ample Charting Time built into schedule Daily Office Hour to complete any additional administrative, training or collaborative tasks Dedicated Administrative Assistant for the prescribing team who is able to help with completing prior authorizations, communicating with clients and scheduling collaborative meetings as needed Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management services and maintain clinical records accordingly Conduct necessary psychiatric case management Provide and demonstrate APN knowledge base as a resource for the implementation of each patient's treatment plan.
Prescribe medication to patients of the practice when clinically indicated Preparing and attending to all reports necessary for provider engagement Utilize associated EMR system for scheduling, telehealth visits, and appropriate patient documentation Collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary treatment team both inside and outside of the Tree of Life family as appropriate Comply with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations Abide by policies and procedures, and associated compliance and protocol measures Benefits include but are not limited to: Life Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Medical Insurance Short term Disability Insurance Retirement Matching PTO/Sick Days Continuing Education Assistance Malpractice Insurance Retirement Savings Plans: 401(k), 403(b), etc.
Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000
Active and unrestricted APRN, DPN, or NP licensure in the state of New Jersey PMHNP-BC preferred Board Certified in specialty Valid and unrestricted CDS & DEA in the State of New Jersey. Experience providing care to clients with an array of mental health disorders across the lifespan Must have at least 1 year experience working in mental health Experience working with children a PLUS! Active and unrestricted APRN, DPN, or NP licensure in the state of New York and/or Pennsylvania.
