The primary duties involve performing high-quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images while ensuring excellent patient care, including administering appropriate radionuclide doses. Responsibilities also include clearly explaining procedures, monitoring patient well-being during exams, and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information.
Candidates must possess current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification along with a State Nuclear Medicine License, and must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A high school diploma or GED is required, and venipuncture certification or a permit is also mandatory for success in this role.
