Signet Health manages the behavioral health services for Medstar Washington Hospital Center.

Our team uses evidence-based treatment modalities to help provide cutting-edge and quality therapeutic services to those that need it most in the District of Columbia area, as well as surrounding states.

Our services include brief therapy, group therapy, addiction related services, medication management, Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and integrated Co-Occurring treatment for adults, and in-house point of care testing/psychiatry related labs.

About the Role

  • Join a collaborative behavioral health team where your work directly supports patients on their path to recovery. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and front end support in a fast paced outpatient setting. This role offers variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support including vital signs, screenings, specimen collection, urine drug screens, and point of care testing- Assist with documentation, EMR tasks, prior authorizations, refill workflows, and patient communication- Cross cover front desk functions including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and check in and check out- Manage calls, voicemails, and patient messages to ensure timely follow up- Support patient flow across psychiatry, addiction services, and related programs- Maintain supplies, documentation, and compliance with clinic standards Requirements/Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant certification required CMA, RMA, or equivalent- Minimum 2 years of outpatient or ambulatory experience- BLS certification required or obtained during onboarding- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Preferred

Requirements
