The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring appropriate, evidence-based medication use, preventing and resolving medication-related problems, and making patient-centered therapy recommendations. They must also verify medication orders, educate patients and families, and actively participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

The Pharmacist is responsible for appropriate, evidence based, medication use for the institution.
They ensure patients get the right medication at the right dose.
Pharmacists must have a medication safety viewpoint and be in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations (TJC, BOP, CMS, etc).
Pharmacists oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians.
Pharmacists must engage in teaching as part of the hospital's mission.

Required minimum experience: Minimum 2 years in Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician, intern and/or pharmacist Preferred
