Market context
Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technician roles in Illinois are typically tied to hospitals and neurology services that need reliable EEG monitoring support, so demand is often steady where inpatient and outpatient neurodiagnostic testing is offered. This role can be competitive because employers value candidates who can handle constant standing and walking, frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, and careful hearing and vision use for monitoring; a high school diploma is required, and EEG experience is preferred but not required. If you are considering applying, review the physical demands and be ready to note any patient-care, monitoring, or technical experience.
