The Medical Assistant will support the Provider team during one-on-one patient visits, managing patient flow and preparing all necessary clinical materials, instruments, and paperwork. Key duties include assisting with phlebotomy, administering immunizations, performing vision and hearing exams, scheduling appointments, and documenting in electronic medical records.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, with a Medical Assistant certification preferred, along with a Medication Aide Certificate and current BCLS and Mandatory Reporter certifications. Experience in a multi-physician family practice and proficiency with Electronic Medical/Health Records (EMR) are highly desirable.
