The Licensed Practical Nurse plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care using the Nursing Process to achieve optimal outcomes, working collaboratively with other disciplines. Responsibilities include providing routine care, accurately implementing physician orders, and intervening appropriately when recognizing changes in patient conditions.
Candidates must possess a valid LPN nursing license and a valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Prior experience with wound care patients and experience with billing and coding are preferred, although training is provided for the wound care aspect.
