The Occupational Therapist empowers patients to regain independence, improve daily functioning, and elevate their quality of life through tailored, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include educating family members, staying current on techniques, maintaining detailed patient records, and communicating with other healthcare professionals.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and hold a current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Kansas. The role also requires the physical ability for squatting and lifting 50-75 pounds.
